Expecting a separation agreement any day..

Expecting a separation agreement any day.. ryg: What am I to expect from the separation agreement that the H is supposed to give me this week?  I live in GA if that helps.  From what I can understand from him, it's basically a contract dividing up our assets (which we have already done, so I don't really get it).  Is there a time frame?  Are all the agreements the same and/or standard?

Brian75034: Im in TX so im not sure if its the same BUT I think it pretty much protects each one so that if the other incurs any huge debt in the meantime, the other one wont be liable for it.  Plus, if you have agreed to what is split up but have not physically received it and something happens (the spouse sells or destroys it) you can prove in court you were suppose to get it.
