Wrote this 7 years ago.... favoriteangel2003: I wrote this poem to my stbx 7 years ago!!! Came across it in some things I had packed away. Still fits today.....how long does it take someone(ME!) to wake up and smell the Damn coffee?

Do you know me anymore?
Do you care?
Do you remember the person I used to be?
I'm still here....

Trying to make you happy & keep it together everyday,
Wishing that when I looked into your eyes I could say the same....

Just because we're married doesn't mean that
Feelings and Memories have died.
At least not on my end,
Although I feel I am living a lie....

I miss the way you used to look at me,
You eyes always knew what to say.
I look at you now and I sometimes get a glance,
Which leaves me feeling very lonely inside and sad....

What I would give to feel the way I felt back then,
Sitting here alone with myself
Afraid
I may never again.....
