really alone jjbswest: stbx and I split up dec 18, the kids were out of school already for christmas vacation. Today they went back to school and I am alone in this house for the first time in I can't remember when. stbx worked nights so when the kids went to school, he was here. So, today is the first day of being totally alone and I hate the feeling.
Re:really alone tyrogers: Keep that chin up! Know that it will all get better eventually. If you feel so alone, go to the grocery store....go sit at a cafe and have a cup of coffee....read a good book......
Keeping myself busy helped me. Cling to your children, they will keep you smiling. ;)

Thats what I did because I didnt feel like going home to an empty house, and you know what. Sometimes when you get to a low point strangers will pop up and start talking out of the blue. Very odd, but also nice to see people are still people and it does help even if you never see them again.
Re:really alone jjbswest: Well, I actually did get out today. My aunt (she has been through so much) called and said get ready, I'm coming to take you to town with me. I said no, I don't want to go and she said I'm not taking no for an answer.I'm already in your driveway. So, then I felt obligated. I do feel better for today. Thanks so much for your support.
