he brought her with him to pick up our kids lvaughn24: So I havent heard from my stbx in more than a week. He calls this morning and says hes picking up the kids. Im very happy about this cause they havent seen him since Christmas. He comes to the door and his girlfriend is with him. Its bad enough hes with the disgusting thing that looks smells and acts like a guy. With the foulest mouth ive ever heard, and been in jail at least 3 times for drugs. Now my kids are having to spend all this time with her. im not just saying it cause she stole my man weve known this girl for 2years so i know alot about her. How do i get over caring if shes around my kids. She lives with my husband and i cant tell him who he can and cant have around the kids. how do i handle this?
Re:he brought her with him to pick up our kids jjbswest: i feel differently. I did tell my stbx that I did not want my kids around the women that he is seeing. The one he cheated on me with. The reason is because my daughter (she's 11) asked me if she ever went to visit her dad , if she had to see that woman and I told her no. As a father, he should respect that for the kids. And he did say that he understood that. It is my responsibility to make sure that my kids are around responsible, loving, caring, respectful adults. If not, they are not going. Period. But, I know that everyone's situation is different. He would know better than to bring the little slu* to pick up his kids.
