First and foremost they're are alot of good husbands here on this board. I worked seven days a week for three years to provide for my family so she could take some time to find herself. We don't have any kids so it wasn't like she had to stay home for any reason. After 6 years she shut off her feelings and got on a plane to go be with another man in Scotland. He paid for everything.
I know what you're going through. I honestly don't know how I get through some days but I do and you will too. You found a good place to come to vent so WELCOME.

Crushing Blow MRMR: Hi All,
I got some really bad (but expected news).
I received an email today from my wife whom I am separated for the last 5 1/2 months. She emailed to say that she is dating again and she is filing for divorce at the end of the year.
This has been the crushing blow for me.
I moved to 2 different countries and gave up my career on both occasions so she could climb the corporate ladder, and then one day last year she said "it wasn't working out".
Is this all the thanks loving/caring people receive in return for Loyalty?.

Just remember that you are a decent person. I know it's hard when your SO just ups and leaves. You would think they would fight you keep things alive, wouldn't you.

Well she told me "it wasn't worrking out" when I was in the US.
I had no where else to go there so I came back to Ireland.
I had hoped we could work things out between us but I guess after last nights email that will not be happening will it.
I never did much wrong in the marriage, I was a good husband and a great friend I supported her in everytihng she wanted.
