Changed visitation... *sigh* brokenman: Well, last night the ex asked to get two weekdays with our daughter instead of one. I thought about it long and hard. Tonight she called and I gave her my conclusion. I agreed to one weeknight before her weekend and two weeknights the week after her weekend. That way there isn't a 4 day period when I don't see her. The ex accepted it and took it well.
I didn't want to change the schedule, but I really didn't have a reason not to... other than keep more time for myself. And that isn't fair to anyone. I am not upset, but I am kinda bummed. I feel like I have lost something but then again I haven't. My daughter and I still have good quality time.
So, this isn't much of a "vent" and ends up being a sigh.

Good for you! See what a great person you are? You could use the time for yourself, who couldn't? Now you can start painting...right? Or cleaning or folding that laundry you still need to fold...what are you doing here? Hit the laundry room now!!! :o

Re:Changed visitation... *sigh* ChristyM: I know what you mean brokenman about knowing you didn't lose anything but yet you still feel depressed. I hate that because I can't truly put my finger on why I feel that way.
Kudos to you though for working with your ex to make the situation the best for your daughter.
