ex's personal ads clambakesX: Anyone else seen their ex's personal ads? I'm happy that he's taking steps to move on.
What gets me is that his ads just scream "Loser" to me. Maybe because I know the background, but the way he writes seems to proclaim that he doesn't know what he wants.
I soooooooooo regret the amount of time and energy I invested in him, all the sacrifices I made, and then all the ways he stabbed in me in the back, let me down, used me ... and these days, everything reminds me of that.
Re:ex's personal ads Shanna: I don't really want to see if my stbxh has personal adds. I do know OW isn't happy about him having a gf, but won't leave her husband for him.....LOL I should call Jerry Springer.

I have a funny story ... one of my best friends told me her ex had signed up to Match. She knew I had also and she said "Just watch, he will end up responding to your ad" (He had never met me but I had seen pics of him). Well, sure enough ... one night I get an e-mail and it's from him. Iiiicccckkkkk! The humourous thing was his profile and how he made himself out to sound like this great catch and here I knew all about his addictions to painkillers and his cheating problems and his tendency to be verbally abusive. Kinda made me wonder how many other people out there blur the lines on what they are really like (or maybe some people just have unusually high opinions of themselves ;D)

Re:ex's personal ads kissingkim: Haven't found a personal ad, but accidentaly found out his yahoo chat name one day when I was over at his house. I think it might have been the one he was using and hiding from me while we were married and he was chatting with all his slutty women friends. He was very good at his lies, so I was only able to catch him once chatting, and he was much more careful from there on.
So I looked up his name, and of course it is ONE BIG LIE. Sickens me to think he is telling these women the same lies he told me before and during our marriage. I know there is nothing I can do about it, but it really bothers me! Case in point, he lied about his age when we met, and kept it hidden until I noticed the date on our marriage liscense. He was nearly 3 years older than I originally thought. NOW, on yahoo he is listed at 39....he is 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank the Lord I saw the light.
