My ex's GF works for me

My ex's GF works for me speckle: I don't know what to do about it. I was completely unaware when she transferred to my store. Now she works with me all day every day, and I have to hear her tell others about their relationship. (such as it is - a month ago he was in "love"with a lesbian he knew when he was 20!) I have talked to my boss about it, but we haven't come up with a solution yet. I am the manager, and her shift is really tough to fill.

I am just so ready to have him at a distance from my life, and I feel like I still haven't had the space I need.

Any ideas?

I think you did the right thing talking to your boss - this is a decision you need someone else to help you make.

At the very least, either you or the boss or both of you can have a sit down with her and talk about what's okay and not okay to talk about while at work!

I suppose you can also ask yourself - what kind of job is this? Is it a permanent career type job that you have? Or something you can take or leave? You can always weigh it against what it's worth to you...

talk to that boss, grit your teeth, and bear it out. Good luck!

And I have the same question as Teach. Is this a job that you can move on from? Or is this career?
