interesting evening with ex and ow
.

interesting evening with ex and ow amola: ok, so we had this "preschool thing" to do tonight....so of course ex had to be there.....and the girl that i have been told that he's seeing has a daughter in our daughter's class, so of course she had to be there.......

i got myself all decked out for the occasion....lol not really, just decent jeans and shirt and made sure that i had on makeup and that my hair didn't resemble don king on a bad hair day....

i got there early with the 2 younger kids (he had our 5 year old with him) and proceeded to change the baby's clothes because they were just downright nasty, and then started to feed him.

in strolls ow, looking as skanky as ever. long straight stringy hair, no makeup.....and i swear, she can't be any older than about 24 (he's almost 37)....she has 3 kids also. (come to think of it, he always said that he wanted 6 kids....i guess it just took him two women to get them!)

this meeting-thing was in the cafegymatorium at the school, so the cafeteria tables were out. i sat over at the table where we usually sit, and where ex's stuff was sitting. she came in and sat down on the opposite side of the room, and he promptly picked up his sh!t and moved it over there. fine. he was invading my space anyway. we ate and listened to the little presentation from the dentist. ex and ow sat over there and chatted occasionally. i tried not to watch, but i was like a freakin' gaper at a roadside accident.....just kept looking over to see if i saw anything.....but there was nothing terribly obvious. if anything, they talked less this time than they have in the past at these things....probably trying not to arouse suspicion.....dorks.

so we got done, i packed the kids up, brought them home, and here we are. the evening could have been worse, but i really don't look forward to seeing them together at other preschool functions......just another reason to keep the kids from going to school in that district, but i really think that i'm going to lose that battle.... :'(

at least i didn't say anything nasty.....it was tempting....but i bit my tongue. hard.

Re:interesting evening with ex and ow Sad Eyes: Good for you Amola!!! You are the better person for doing that. :D

It's all about the kids....if that helps any. Children can be such a nice distraction. ;)

Proud of you! ;D

Re:interesting evening with ex and ow down south xhubbie: My ex has signed my son up for t-ball. Her brother (who hates the world and the feeling is mutual) is going to be one of the coaches of the team, because his son also plays on the team.

I hope I can be as brave and controlled as you were tonight.

It's really the best thing for the kids.
Re:interesting evening with ex and ow amola: in a way, it was hard. but in a way, it didn't bother me too much. i did have the urge several times to walk over to them and slap the poo out of them, but i didn't do it..... ;D

i think what helped was the thread that i replied to today about missing the little things.....funny that it took me this long to realize that there is absolutely nothing that i miss about that man. i've been thinking about it ever since i replied and i STILL can't come up with anything. if anything, i'm mad at myself for sticking around so long! >:(

oh well........life goes on.....on to bigger & better things.....c'est la vie and all that jazz....lol

:)
