Twilight
Darkness takes its fascination
From the things we do,
You and I,
Lost in thorny brambles--
Stitched but bleeding.
Shadows flutter in the dark eaves
Of the dreams we have,
You and I,
Torn and sadly tattered--
Filled with human needing.
