OMG...again? ambergem: So I'm chatting with my daughter on the phone from her dad's a few nights ago and she tells me that my stbx and his girlfriend are pregnant again!!! I think they might be insane? They can hardly afford the 2 kids they have (her 11 year old, the baby) plus our 2 parttime.
The very freaky thing is that their babies will be almost exactly the same age difference as our two. So far she's managed to mimic mylife with him to a tee.
If you don't have the background, she used to be my best friend and I think she really coveted my life all along...what's next? She'll have to force him to spend time with her best friend and then leave him because she realizes he's never going to change???
I'm neither angry nor upset. I am concerned for my own children who have a hard enough time competing for attention at their house. Plus a bit pissed off that they didn't give me any advanced notice this time around. We're supposed to tell each other about big changes...altho maybe a 2nd baby doesn't qualify in their minds as a big change? Apparently he forgets that having a newborn and 21 month old is pure hell for about six months!

I do know that when the baby was about 3 months she was badgering the stbx for another one but he didn't want it. guess the persistence paid off.
