im so scared
i think im one of those types of people that cant be alone but im going to try to develop it
im 30 but went from my parents home to living with the x for 5 yrs
im in a slump i think bc nothing in my life is stable and i think im going to have to start completely from scratch...i think i need to get some books on conquering fear.
anywyas, if anyone else is fearful....pl let me know how you are dealing with it...thanks.
Re:anyone else never been alone before? AloneandCold: I am not now fearful but I was when I started out. Before now (except a stint in the army) I had never been alone either. But it does get better, you learn to adjust. If you think a book would help, by all means go down and get one. I promise it is not as scary as it feels at first. I came to really enjoy having my space and my place. Good luck!

Here, lonely man here. She's been with me since university, i.e. before I started working :-\ Skipped graduation to save the 500 and bought us dinners. New jobs? We bought each other gifts :-\ :-\

I used to love to read - Star Trek, Stephen King, Wilbur Smith, LOTR, Anne Rice, etc. Those books I borrowed with her on our frequent visits to the library :-\ :'( I cannot focus on those anymore (yet?)
Workout pumped full with supplements twice a day - morning and evening. Good for beating the traffic; but the real reason only Ojar and I know :'( :'( :'(

I guess its just that after he moved out, since we were really not gettng along and bickering over silly stuff that yes i now regret bc i now see that the brita jug being in or outside the fridge was not worth losing LOVE, i did thrive on being on my own....but then i jumped the gun after 2 months and worked in europe for 8 months.
now that im in between work and got to grieve and instrospect and the ex 'our' home is traumatizing and i think i have to start over in a new city, i dont know if i can recapture that feeling of freedom and exctiement about proving myself....
i dont want to prove myself....i learned my lesson and ill have to work on change....but i feel like i have nothing (in one single place that is)
anyways, c la vie....i tend to think it would be more common as far as this fear in females vs males....i always said i wished i was a boy or a cat
Re:anyone else never been alone before? AloneandCold: You will be ok, I know some people who have moved to a new city for a new start, for them it has worked, if you think this is what you need go for it.
Hmm I don't know I think I would rather be a dog. :) A huge male dog.
If you cannot move right away make the house "yours" anyway you can instead of "ours"
