One of my all-time favorite/most heart-wrenching songs. And very, very, very true - no matter how much we want to, we can't make a person feel waht we want them to feel.
As a side note, one of the contestants sang this for "American Idol" last night. I wanted to smack him - he kept smiling during the song. It's not a smiley type of song!

Re:i can't make you love me. craez: i know! i saw it! when i heard it, i couldn't believe none of us had thought to post it before. that jack@ss messed it up with his stupid, smiling face though. i agree. this song really is like a kick to the stomach at this point in my life. her song describes my life 3 months ago. brutal. i remember lying in bed with him, cuddling, thinking he felt nothing.....anyway.....i'm not going to think about my sociopathic ex. he's a f-ing loser who deserves nothing but misery.
