Tamra Barney of the TV reality-show (an oxymoron) “Real Housewives of Orange County” is getting a divorce after 11 years from her husband, Simon Barney.
Steve Wynn of Wynn Resorts Ltd will transfer half of his stock in the Las Vegas-based casino operator to his wife in their divorce settlement. This comes to a staggering $741 million for his former wife Elaine Wynn.
John Michael Farren, 57 an attorney who worked in both Bush administrations was charged with trying to kill his wife Mary Farren by beating her with a flashlight and choking her two days after she delivered divorce papers.
The Kansas City Star is reporting that the proposed health care bill has a built-in “marriage penalty”. We’ll be watching the status of this as it becomes closer to being signed into law.
